Parmesan Carrots are a really nice side that our family absolutely loves.
They are quick and easy to throw together, you can prepare them in about ten minutes or so.
We served our parmesan carrots with my pot roast recipe, it was delish!
But really you could serve these with almost anything, or on their own as a snack. I had a hard time stopping everyone from eating them off the sheet pan, they really are that good!
How to Make Parmesan Carrots
I prefer to use long carrots for this recipe, simply peel and cut them into long wedges. Or, you could use baby carrots.
Preheat your oven to 400F so that you’re ready to cook.
If your sheet pan is not non stick then make sure to line it with parchment paper to make the cheese and carrots don’t stick.
Grate your parmesan cheese and set aside.
Toss the peeled carrots in the olive oil, garlic, and salt and pepper.
Place the carrots on the sheet pan in a single layer and bake for 15 minutes.
Then when the 15 minutes is up, remove the carrots and sprinkle on the parmesan cheese.
Bake for about 5-10 minutes, you really just want to melt the cheese and no more.
These parmesan carrots are best served hot straight from the oven!
